Welcome to the Allegan County Youth Livestock
Enriching youth through agriculture
Our youth learn about the agriculture industry through seminars and the projects that they participate in. Youth learn how to feed, house, properly handle, and care for their projects. All youth are required to complete the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals training to qualify for the Youth Livestock Auction.
The youth participating in this program have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the county fair. Eligible youth with livestock projects may chose to sell their projects at the Allegan County Youth Livestock Auction.
