Market Goats

The market goat project is open to youth who reside in Allegan County and/or participate in and Allegan County Youth Livestock Club. Youth must be 8-years old at the beginning of the calendar year and less than 19-years old at the beginning of the calendar year to participate in the Youth Livestock Auction. Market goats must weigh a minimum of 50-pounds at final weigh-in, with miniature goat breeds weighing 30-pounds or more at final weigh-in to be eligible for the Youth Livestock Auction.
