Dairy Starter Calf

Dairy Starter Calf project is open to participants in an Allegan County Youth Livestock Club and/or reside in Allegan County. Youth exhibitors shall be eight to 19-years old as of January 1 of the current calendar year. All dairy starter calves shall be born after January 1 of the current calendar year and shall not be a dairy breed crossed with a beef breed. All dairy starter calves must weigh 300 to 700 pounds at final weigh-in to participate in the Allegan County Youth Livestock Auction.
